Our Company

daniel*richards represents a mix of quality, upscale manufacturers that complement each other and make a great "story" in your store. We represent the best lines that retail at store level and are leaders in the following categories: Baby, Home Décor, Personal Care, Novelty Gift, and Stationery.

We have showrooms in Atlanta and Chicago and a sales force that covers 20 states and Washington DC. Our office is located in the Atlanta Gift Mart and is open daily from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

History

daniel*richards is the collaboration of partners Dan Collier and Richard Pfeiffer. The showroom opened in January 2002. A second showroom, dedicated to gift, opened in July 2005. In July 2007. daniel*richards expanded into the Midwest market and opened a showroom on the 13th floor of the Chicago Merchandise Mart.

Dan is the principal. The idea to open a showroom was the natural progression of his years of sales experience and his love for gift and stationery. Dan is the creative force behind the showroom. He is also a mentor to the sales team.

Richard is the technology and operations manager. His experience in technical support, software knowledge and training skills create a strong foundation for the operations of the business.

And finally, Dale Pugh is our showroom manager. He does commission entry and can be found in the Atlanta showroom Mon—Fri 9—5.

Mission

Our mission is to provide an enjoyable experience while working with our representatives in the field or in one of the showrooms during Market. We offer a fresh perspective on trends, and partner with our stores to provide a well-educated, relaxed experience while buying our top lines. We believe in a friendly, positive sales experience; we want you to be happy with your purchase so that you will come back to daniel*richards over and over again.
